Bitter follow-up to Vista screen freezes.
While the problem seemed to go away after I addressed the problem with sonic focus and audiodg.exe -- it crept back up days later. It appears as if the audiodg.exe was actually triggering what was the real problem: the voltage going to my DDR3 memory was to low. I went into the bios and updated my DRAM Voltage to 1.9. No screen freezes in 8 days.
